Jeremy Fogelman is originally from Silver Spring, Maryland. He received an undergraduate degree in computer engineering from University of Maryland College Park and his master’s in systems engineering at Johns Hopkins University. He currently works as a software developer by day and a film reviewer by night at hotchka.com. He is also part of the Washington, D.C.-area Film Critics Association.

Ari, 27, has worked in consulting for defense and homeland security solutions development since college. A Maryland native, he attended Berman Hebrew Academy and Churchill High School and spent time learning in Israel. Ari currently works in data science and strategy for Scale Up Global, a startup that specializes in bringing global cybersecurity innovation into the U.S. commercial and government markets. He loves science and philosophy, and the philosophy of science; he also loves basketball, hanging with friends, eating, learning Torah, playing guitar, cracking jokes, and singing and thinking about cross-domain problems and ideas.

Shlomo Fishman is 25 years old and grew up in Monsey, New York. He spent a gap year in Israel after graduating from high school before moving to Silver Spring, Maryland, in the fall of 2012. Shlomo is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in therapeutic recreation from NOVA Southeastern University, but even before completing his degree, he has already created a name for himself in the local fitness community and beyond.   

Kevin Rudolph

Originally from California, he had a one-year layover in Jerusalem and a two-year layover in Chicago before moving to the nation’s capital. Kevin is a proud alumnus of UC Santa Barbara (on the best coast) and the University of Chicago. In DC, Kevin works as an advocate for the pro-business community.

Jackie Subar is originally from Dallas, Texas but calls Washington, D.C. home. By day, she works for the American Jewish Committee, directing their young leadership division, ACCESS DC. By night, she goes crazy: baking with friends, exploring DC, and trying to figure out how to play the piano with both hands — the struggle is real. She is excited about an upcoming trip to Miami, to be followed by a couple of days hiking along the Appalachian Trail. 

Sara Hourwitz

Sara grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland, with her parents, older brother and two dogs. She graduated from Ursinus college, a small liberal arts college just outside of Philadelphia, with a bachelor of arts in English and Media Communications in 2013. After working for the Jewish Social Service Agency for two years, Sara was hired by Sulam in the fall of 2016 to be the Development Manager. In this role, she oversees the acknowledgment process for all gifts, stewards relationships with current donors, and works to engage and cultivate potential donors to the organization. She also prepare grant proposals for foundations and work closely with Sulam’s Marketing Director to plan and execute fundraising events, including the Annual Gala.
