Milton Gottesman Jewish Day School of the Nation’s Capital (MILTON) honored its leaders and heroes at its annual Purim Ball, catered by Medina Cuisine, on March 11 at the National Housing Center in Washington, D.C.
Parents, alumni, grandparents, community members, and friends gathered to recognize the extraordinary leadership and service of MILTON parents Kimby and Lawrence Berger, Kimberly and John Hasenberg, Cinthia and Horacio Rozanski, and Sandy and Ted Schulman, and to honor MILTON’s Director of Jewish Life Sharon Freundel for her 12 years of service to the school, its children, and its families. The theme of the event was “Leaders and Heroes,” and in true superhero fashion, the community came together to celebrate the honorees and to raise more than $200,000 for programs and tuition assistance.
