  1. The Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) honored Maryland Governor Larry Hogan at an event held in the sukkah of Beth Sholom Congregation and Talmud Torah in Bethesda, Maryland, on Sunday, Oct. 8. The organizers recognized Hogan and his administration for their support for several issues of interest to the Jewish community. These include the allocation of millions of dollars to local Jewish social service agencies, which proudly assist Marylanders of all identities; demonstrating strong support for Israel; and advocating for funding for private school scholarships for lower-income families.
